RomeThe Academic Master in Accessories Design targets graduates who wish to complete or enhance their technical and cultural competences in bags, small leather goods, shoes, design and making.
From pattern making, to prototyping up to the final product, following the industry Projects developed with fashion houses such as FENDI, FERRAGAMO, FURLA etc.
The Master provides students with a 360-degree acknowledgement of the Accessories Industry with a “hands on approach”, enabling them to capture the entire value chain, while building their methodology, cultural platform, network, skills, and their own creative personal identity so to meet with confidence industry needs and to forecast the upcoming vision within the fashion sector.
It is a course of intensive theoretical-practical study, able to combine design project, experimentation, and technical development, for an artistic-cultural preparation to acquire the right organizational, design and operational skills. These are essential characteristics for a figure able to effectively communicate with the production laboratories, to know the state of the art, the potential offered and the possibilities of implementation of the creative project.
A series of meetings with artisans, professionals and industry leaders constitute the added value of the training program, intended as a laboratory in which to be able to express one’s own creative direction in accordance with the production and business realities.
The Master has a total duration of one year for a total of 1500 hours, divided into frontal and laboratory lessons, individual study, complementary learning activities, and training.
Upon completion of the Academic Master in Accessories Design students will be able to pursue a career as Designers inside the Creative Studios, Product Studios or Design Studios and to cover the various professional roles in Fashion such as Research and Development of Materials to Product Managers, up to the creation of their own business. The career placement ratio of this Course is nowadays 100%, in Rome Milan, Paris, London.
The Academic Master in Accessories Design, is addressed to graduates holding a Bachelor Degree or other equivalent study title recognized according to the current regulations related to the course and who would like to begin a study path and a career in Accessories Design.

In order to maintain the high quality of the learning experience, the Academic Master in Accessories Design observes a limited enrolment policy. To be admitted in the course, applicants are required to submit their resume, motivational letter and portfolio for evaluation and to pass an admission interview with the Academic Directorship.
The educational path of the course is divided into modules, through theoretical and practical lectures, seminars with experts and professionals in the sector, research and design laboratories, visits to events – trade fairs and sector events, exercises, final test (Final Work) and internship. The theoretical and theoretical-practical base activities present in the study plan: History of Fashion, Computer Graphic and Type of materials, and the integrative or analogues activities: Logic and business organization are accompanied by a number of hours consisting of the characterizing activities in Accessory Design. This amount of hours covers all the projects carried out during the year, both in terms of design review and theoretical and theoretical-practical activities inserted in order to provide students with more cognitive details in the context of the briefs.
