FENDI INDUSTRY VISIT | MASTER ACCESSORIES DESIGN

As part of their Industry Project in collaboration with Fendi, our Master in Accessories Design students had the opportunity to visit the Fendi Factory, the Maison’s leather goodsmanufacturing hub in Capannuccia, Tuscany. This immersive experience allowed them to explore the heart of one of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses, gaining firsthandinsight into the craftsmanship and innovation that define Fendi’s excellence.

During the visit, students were guided through every phase of Fendi’s production process, from product development and prototyping to the high-precision production lines and the exclusive precious leather department. Accompanied by Carlotta Giannoni, GS Supervisor LG, the group had the chance to observe the meticulous techniques and attention to detailthat go into creating each leather accessory.

To further enrich the experience, students took part in a practical workshop, experimentingwith the traditional saddle stitch technique used in high-end leather goods. Under expertguidance, they crafted their own cardholders, applying artisanal skills that are essential in the world of luxury accessories.
