FRANÇOIS-HENRI PINAULT, Chairman & CEO of Kering, at our Campus in Rome shared his story with our community.

A true honor for us to witness such an insightful and inspirational conversation between Monsieur Pinault and our Chairman A. Lupo Lanzara, which covered many topics and which was followed by an extended Q&A session covering various aspects of his work, such as the relevance of creativity, the vision that Kering is taking forward throughout its global activities, with deep dives on Sustainability, Social Reseponsability, the importance of Italy and the investments the group is making across the entire value chain, and finally on education and its role and significance, and how Accademia Costume & Moda is an example of these bonds.  There are large numbers of our alumni now working within the Group, with important student Industry Projects developed in collaboration with the Kering’s Houses: Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Brioni e Alexander McQueen. We are infinitely grateful.

Mr. Pinault and his team were delighted to discover our premises at the fullest, from the Fiamma Lanzara Library to our  Accessories, Fashion and Costume Laboratories, our Textile & Fabrics Archive and our terraces, understanding and living the approach behind the Vision of our Founder, Rosana Pistolese and the importance of stakeholdership for an independent school like ours.
