A new challenge has been shared with our 3-year BA Costume & Fashion students by the most established Italian Maison de Couture, Valentino. This exciting journey takes the class deep into the field of Fashion Accessories.

Mentored by Giovanni Morelli, Accessories Design and Product Development Director at Valentino, our students are poised to explore the delicate balance between heritage and future, authenticity, and vision within the Maison. This extraordinary opportunity promises a harmonious blend of creativity and tradition.

The focal point of this Industry Project is the iconic Stud, a symbol deeply ingrained in the Maison’s history. Under the mentorship of Giovanni Morelli, the students are tasked with injecting a fresh, contemporary perspective into this iconic code.

As the students delve into the challenge, they are not merely designing accessories; they are crafting a narrative that connects the Maison’s heritage with the evolving landscape of fashion.
