Accademia Costume & Moda protagonist at ITS

This weekend ITS celebrated its twenty years anniversary, and we could not be prouder to be part of this edition!

A generation of talents developing touching narratives, dreaming of making the world a better place and celebrating the analog dimension of the printed book as a guardian of knowledge were showcased in Trieste.

It was unveiled the first exhibition of ITS Arcademy, a collection of portfolios, dresses, accessories, jewelry and photographic projects of the last two decades.

Two portfolios of our alumni Rei Sato, winner of the Swatch Art Hotel Award 2021 and Master in Accessories 2021 student and of Alice Piscedda (BA Costume & Fashion 2020) were illustrated in the exposition that was curated by Olivier Saillard, fashion historian and former director of the Palais Galleria in Paris.

During the Fashion Show, it was presented the project of Marco Anzil, one of the Accessories Finalist and the only one from an Italian academy, “AC_DC: AVANTICRISTO/DOPOCRISTO” regarding the evolution of travel, as the archetypal meaning of luggage, at people’s new needs. Sensitive to how since the birth of the shoe and the bag their purpose and meaning have changed and evolved into objects to satisfy aesthetics, functionality and awareness at the same time. Perhaps realizing that the unnecessary is the new necessary.
