The Industry Project in collaboration with Ferragamo, one of the most iconic maisons of Italian luxury, has come to a close, involving our students from the Master in Accessories Design.
During the Final Presentation, our students presented their final projects to Andrea Renieri, Head Designer of Leathergoods, and Francesca Maltinti, Women’s and Men’s Leather Goods Senior Designer at the brand. It was an engaging and stimulating moment of exchange, where each proposal was analysed and discussed through a constructive dialogue between creativity, research, and design vision.
The Industry Project represented a valuable opportunity to put into practice the skills acquired throughout the Master’s programme and to engage directly with the real dynamics of the industry. Working closely with Ferragamo professionals allowed students to gain an in-depth understanding of the design processes behind high-end accessories, developing a design sensibility aligned with the brand’s values and identity.
Experiences like this fully embody the Academy’s educational philosophy: a continuous dialogue between education and industry, where the encounter with leading designers and creatives becomes a driving force for both professional and personal growth.
A special thank you to Andrea Renieri, Francesca Maltinti, and the entire Ferragamo team for their time, support, and trust in the talent of our students.
