The students of the Master’s in Accessories Design recently had the opportunity to visit the Fendi headquarters in Rome, an experience that immersed them in the heart of the tradition and innovation of this renowned luxury brand.
During the visit, they explored Fendi’s historical archive, gaining access to iconic pieces that tell the long and rich story of the maison. It was a fascinating journey through materials, techniques, and collections that have shaped decades of fashion.
A particularly exciting moment was the tour of the fur atelier, a place where Fendi’sartisanal mastery blends seamlessly with innovation. The students were able to observe the craftsmanship up close, learning the secrets that make Fendi’s products so special.
At the end of the visit, the students were challenged with a brief to take part in the new Industry Project: redesigning the Baguette, one of the maison’s most iconic accessories, in celebrationof Fendi’s 100th anniversary. This opportunity allowed them to test their creativity by reinterpreting a symbolic piece of the brand’s history at such a significant moment.
A heartfelt thank you to the Fendi team for giving our students the chance to experience the craftsmanship and excellence that define Fendi’s identity.
We can’t wait to see their final projects!
