FEDERICO POLETTI | Inside Fashion Design Management

After completing his studies in Conservazione dei Beni Culturali at  University of Pisa, he specialized in visual arts with a PhD at  Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento at Palazzo Strozzi, Florence. Then he continues with two masters in art and fashion: the first at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Organization and Communications of Visual Arts) and the second at Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (Communication of the fashion product).

Since 2014 he is Founder & Editor-in-Chief of MANINTOWN.COM, men’s lifestyle online magazine; and since 2020 he has held the role of Marketing & Communication Director at WHITE SHOW MILANO.

Next academic year you will start teaching in the Fashion Design Management course, can you tell us why you chose to teach in such course?

” I will teach in the Fashion Design Management course with great enthusiasm because it allows you to acquire both cultural skills – that are, nowadays more than ever, important to train professionals and managers of the future – and a few more technical skills on the product as well as on communication and marketing, because the union between culture, history of artistic thought and all that is creative expression must be combined with know-how and technique on the product and communication “
