Stefano De Nardis, alumno of Accademia Costume & Moda, returns to share with the next talents, his outstanding professional experience in the international costume design practice for productions that we all know. Anecdotes, curiosities, stories that tell a journey through the eyes of who experiences it, an unmissable opportunity for knowledge and learning.
Stefano De Nardis professional training happened in the world of Haute Couture in Rome, studying at “Accademia di Costume & Moda” : he transitioned as Product Manager in the Far East and landed in the Costume field thanks to his productive experience in running very big, very demanding workshops.
He ran – in several Countries all around Europe and the Middle East – manufacturing workshops for “Prince of Persia – the Sands of Time” , “Pirates of the Caribbean – on Stranger Tides” and supervised Costume Departments during italian shootings “Jumper” , “Avengers – Age of Ultron”, the Bond movie “Spectre”, Ridley Scott’s “All the money in the world”, George Clooney directed TV miniseries “Catch 22”, the blockbuster “Men in black: International” and the forthcoming “The King’s Man”.
He has gained a Costume Designers Guild of America nomination for best costumes with his work as Designer for“Coco Chanel” , the 2009 Golden Globe nominated Alchemy TV movie .
At the moment he is busy supervising the Costume Dpt. for the Italian leg of the next Bond installment “No time to die” – due to open in April 2020 – starring for the last time Daniel Craig, and “villain” Rami Malek.
