THE CUBE ARCHIVE INDUSTRY PROJECT | BA COSTUME & FASHION

Our 3yr BA Costume & Fashion students have recently completed their Industry Project in collaboration with TheCube Archive, the prestigious menswear archive founded by Stefano Chiassai and Alessandra Dall’Anese.

This unique experience offered students the chance to immerse themselves in the world of menswear, with a clear creative challenge: to reinterpret iconic garments such as the Peacoat, the Trench coat, and lace-up shoes, blending sartorial tradition with contemporaryinnovation.

Under the guidance of Corinna Chiassai, Artistic Director, and Marius Hordijk, Co-founder, students explored the archive’s materials, silhouettes and details, drawinginspiration from decades of design history. The project encouraged experimentation, idea-sharing and collaboration in a dynamic and creative environment.

This experience highlights the value of synergy between education and industry: directengagement with professionals, a concrete opportunity for growth, and a platform to express skills, vision and identity.
