Industry Brief

The objective of this project was to make a journey, in time and space but towards a future destination. As experienced mixologists, students werw asked to identify the delicate balance, the mix of ingredients necessary to build a unique experience. Japan and Ken Scott were not the only elements to be taken into consideration, it was necessary to create a meaningful path that brings one’s own design process to the contemporary in respect of the enormous productive potential of a leader Brand like Mantero.

  • Analysis of Ken Scott’s work by identifying one or more of the narratives he created at different times from 1955 to the 1970s.
  • Selection and analysis of some designs from kimonos, studying the significance odf the different designs.
  • Definitions of other elements that can contribute to create a different narrative, new and unedited and immersed in the next present.

Ultimately students were asked to work as a chef, as a mixologist, creating balance between the senses and significance.

Congratulations!
