The Vocational Course in Fashion Communication has the aim of preparing professionals able to work in the field of Fashion Communication and the creation of Fashion Communication projects. Students will be able to interpret styles, basic and advanced aesthetic, expressive and communicative codes specific of different fields of fashion. At the end of the study path, participants will be able to achieve a wide range of competences in the various sectors that work in the definition of the product.

The objectives are aimed at providing an overview on communication, on Fashion and on its main characteristics. Workshops, simulations, group projects (styling, writing, presentations) will allow students to test the skills acquired and get an immediate feedback on what has been conveyed during the classes.

Upon the completion of the Vocational Course in Fashion Communication it is possible to pursue a career in Fashion CommunicationStyling, MarketingSocial MediaPublic Relations and Fashion Events.

The Vocational Course in Fashion Communication is addressed to graduates, graduands and professionals who wish to complete or deepen their cultural and professional preparation.

In order to maintain the high quality of the learning experience, the Vocational Course in Fashion Communication responds to a limited enrolment policy. To be admitted in the course, applicants are required to submit their resume, motivational letter and to pass an admission interview with the Academic Directorship.


The first quarter of the Vocational Course in Fashion Communication offers an introduction to the essential modules of fashion, through lectures on fashion communication (models and archetype of communication), Business Communication, Fashion Sociology, of styles and subcultures (the social unrest and the main events that have influenced the evolution of fashion and the birth of new trends), History of Fashion, art semiotics (the main artists that have been the source of inspiration for the designers), fashion design (criteria and characteristics of Fashion, styles and fashion currents), marketing (the market, the brands, advertising).


The second quarter is composed of two modules: first module is focused on the definition of specific figures and professional roles (Press Office & Digital PR, Fashion Stylist & Image Consultant, Fashion Editor, Events Fashion Coordinator, Communication Consultant, Social Media Manager)
Second module: lectures with professionals and experts to present successful case histories, the storytelling of an experience to complete the academic path.


  • Styling Lab (definition of moodboard, style of a Maison, fashion editing);
  • Creative Writing (writing techniques related to articles,  press release, reviews, introduction to photogalleries);
  • Exercise on photo and video shootings;
  • Events: concept and budget;
  • TV Report Production (launch, creation and writing of the outline, shootings, broadcasting)

During the course, students will be invited to participate in events, press days, exhibition, fashion shows and visits to showrooms and concept stores.

The Vocational Course in Fashion Communication involves the realization of a Final Work to be presented at the end of the course. The type of project and its content is decided in agreement with the teachers and can vary in every edition. It can consist in a photo shooting, in a publishing project, in fashion movies or in any other format that involves the professional roles of fashion communication.
