MilanThe Specialization Course in Visual Merchandising, developed in collaboration with Slowear Group is addressed to professionals and graduates in the areas of fashion, design, architecture, scenography who are interested in acquiring the theoretical-practical tools aimed at the creation of visual installations for the retail promotion of fashion brands.
Participants will develop the ability needed to recognize the creative peculiarities and the policies of brands, the moods and themes of the collections in order to communicate them in the best way inside the store. Moreover, students will experiment the various fitting strategies for corners, exhibiting spaces and shop windows for single stores or international chains and will be able to develop a window project from the initial ideas to the design of the single elements also thanks to the use of specific softwares.
The unique chance to put into practice the knowledge acquired in a real project developed in collaboration with the company, will allow participants to develop a concrete analysis and representation of the DNA of one or more brands among the ones that compose the Slowear Group: Incotex, Zanone, Montedoro, Glanshirt, Officina Slowear, Norse Projects, Arc’Terix.
Participants will then be able to acquire further knowledge of this sector and to begin a career in Visual Merchandising in the different companies of Fashion Industry.
Specialization Courses of Accademia Costume & Moda are designed to provide a fast and focused education in specific areas of Fashion. The attendance allows also working students to concentrate in the study path by alternating theory and practice in a cohesive and focused approach.
The Specialization Course in Visual Merchandising is addressed to graduates, graduands and professionals who wish to complete or deepen their cultural and professional preparation in Visual Merchandising.
In order to maintain the high quality of the study experience, the Specialization Course in Visual Merchandising observes a limited enrolment policy. To be admitted in the course, applicants are required to submit their resume, cover letter and participate in a motivational interview.
