OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

What is styling? It is the ability to reinterpret garments and fashion proposals according to one’s own vision and through the use of personal aesthetic codes.

Participants will have the opportunity to live a unique, intense and fast-learning experience from how to organize a shooting to the choice of the outfit to the coordination with the troupe. After a first introduction to the photoshoot, the course leader will show the selected outfits taken from different showrooms. Students will work on the concept of the shooting and complete it with their own items and accessories. The shooting will involve the participation of a photographer, make-up/hair stylist and a model. At the end of the workshop, the photos will be analysed and a feedback will be provided.

The course is addressed fashion design students who wish to broaden their competences with an experience in this sector or those interested in challenging themself with styling and the complexities that they need to menage or who wish to improve their skills with a teacher with great experience and professionality.
