MONCLER INDUSTRY PROJECT | MASTER IN FASHION COMMUNICATION & ART DIRECTION

Our Master in Fashion Communication & Art Direction students have completed the Industry Project developed in collaboration with Moncler, a research, design and art direction project dedicated to the world of Moncler Grenoble.

The project invited students to explore new creative and curatorial perspectives through which to interpret one of the brand’s most distinctive dimensions, deeply rooted in mountain culture, performance and the meeting point between technical innovation and style. The project was led by Project Leader Pablo Arroyo, photographer, art director and curator with extensive international experience in fashion and communication.

From the brief at Moncler’s Milan headquarters to project development

The Industry Project began at Moncler’s headquarters in Milan, where students were welcomed for the project briefing and had the opportunity to engage directly with the brand’s professional environment. The challenge focused on Moncler Grenoble and on imagining new brand experiences and curatorial scenarios, with particular attention to the development of a 360-degree activation spanning communication, events, locations, talent, pop-ups, retail and digital channels.

Working in groups, the students developed a process combining research into the brand’s DNA, cultural and iconographic analysis, concept development, narrative building and experience design. The brief also allowed for the integration of contemporary tools and languages, from Artificial Intelligence to virtual and augmented reality, gaming and other forms of digital disruption.

The Final Presentation with Moncler team

The project concluded at our Milan campus, where the students presented their final projects to representatives of the Moncler team.

Each group presented its concept through research, strategy, moodboards, storytelling and a comprehensive digital presentation, translating the heritage and codes of Moncler Grenoble into new communication and curatorial proposals.

The project’s learning objectives included developing research skills, selecting artistic content aligned with a strategic vision, building a curatorial project for an international fashion brand and presenting it in a professional and effective way.

Education and industry: the ACM approach

The Industry Project with Moncler confirms the central role that engagement with brands and industry professionals plays in the educational approach of Accademia Costume & Moda. It is an experience that takes students beyond the academic exercise, placing them in direct contact with a real brief, the needs of a global brand and the practical dynamics of Fashion Communication and Art Direction. A key step in transforming research, visual culture and creativity into a project capable of engaging with the contemporary industry.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Moncler team for the time and attention dedicated to our students, and for sharing with them their experience, expertise and an authentic insight into the dynamics of the industry.
