GRADUATION DAY | MASTER ALTA MODA, FASHION DESIGN

13th November 2024 marked an important date for the students of the Master’s in Alta Moda Fashion Design at Accademia Costume & Moda, a day that marked the conclusion of a year-long journey filled with challenges, growth, and achievements. The final discussions of the Haute Couture Capsule Collections presented by the students were the culmination of an intensive year of training, during which participants tackled the most relevant and complex themes in design, tailoring, and high-fashion techniques.

Throughout this year, our students had the opportunity to engage directly with the fashion industry through the Industry Projects, a unique experience that involved collaborations with prestigious names such as Maison Valentino, Luigi Verga Como, and other key players in the fashion world. These projects allowed students to immerse themselves in a high-level creative environment, applying their skills to real-world challenges, where research, innovation, and technical expertise played a fundamental role.

Each Haute Couture Capsule Collection presented was a true expression of creativity and talent, the result of extensive research, study, and hands-on application of the knowledge acquired. Each collection represented a journey into the personal world of each designer, an opportunity to express their vision through fashion, design, embroidery, decorations, and the most advanced tailoring techniques. The students skillfully combined the art of tradition with the latest trends of the future, creating garments that not only tell a story but also reflect a deep technical foundation.

A key element of our programme has been the continuous support from our industry partners, who have played a crucial role in the formation of our students. The curricular internships, undertaken at leading companies in the sector, provided students with the invaluable opportunity to experience firsthand the creative and production processes behind haute couture collections.
