STUDENTS OF THE MASTER IN SUSTAINABILITY INVITED TO WOMAN IN LEADERSHIP 2023

On June 8th in the timeless setting of Palazzo Farnese in Rome took place the Annual Gathering of Women In Leadership (WIL): the network committed to the promotion and advancement of the professional and social interests of women in leadership positions.

Accademia Costume & Moda was inivited to participate with a presentation and an exhibition. Sustainability took center stage as the main theme of the event, permeating every field and industry. During the day, some of our students from the BA in Costume & Fashion had the unique opportunity to showcase their projects through an exhibition within the breathtaking Salone dei Caracci, in the presence of inspiring professionals coming from several different industries. The exhibition featured a selection of outfits from their sustainable Final Capsule Collections.

At the presence of the French Ambassador Christian Masset and of the President of WIL Thaima Samman, our President, Lupo Lanzara, and CEO, Furio Francini, shared about Accademia’s heritage and values.
A journey started by Rosana Pistolese, carried forth by her daughter, Fiamma Lanzara, and now safeguarded by founder’s grandsons, Lupo and Furio.

The gathering closed with an intervention from the students invited, representing Germany, UK and Italy. Among them were the students of our Master in Fashion Sustainability and Industry Evolution. Reflecting on the insights and knowledge they absorbed; they emphasized the profound significance of advancing the causes of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
