OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

Fashion is rethinking business models, products and supply chains in response to the challenges of sustainability and industrial innovation.

The Academic Master in Fashion Sustainability and Industry Evolution at Accademia Costume & Moda prepares professionals to lead this transformation by combining design culture, supply chain management and sustainable development strategies across the fashion and luxury system. Designed for graduates and professionals, the programme brings together strategic vision, technical knowledge of materials and processes, and the ability to interpret the regulatory and industrial changes shaping the sector at an international level.

This perspective is now central to the fashion industry agenda. As one of the most significant sectors within the global economy, fashion must actively reduce its environmental and social impact. In this context, the market increasingly demands new managerial profiles capable of guiding the transition towards more responsible, innovative and forward-looking business models.

This approach is central to the fashion industry agenda, which represents an important part of our economies and therefore needs to act to reduce its environmental and social impact. Therefore, the market needs new managerial figures able to lead the transition to new business models.

The Master provides an in-depth understanding of the macro trends that are bringing sustainability to the forefront of business priorities, in order to evolve towards a more sustainable economic model. The course integrates this technical approach by examining the entire product cycle. In addition, topics such as the sociology of cultural processes and the history of fashion, legislative developments, sustainable communication and evolving scientific fields are covered.

At the end of the Master’s in Fashion Sustainability & Industry Evolution, participants will be able to undertake a professional career within companies in the fashion sector, specializing in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and supply chain management. Furthermore, they will acquire advanced skills to work in the field of responsible innovation and will be able to act as consultants on a global level.
