EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO OVS GROUP | BA IN FASHION BUSINESS: FASHION PRODUCT SYSTEM

Our second-year students from the BA in Fashion Business: Fashion Product System at our Milan campus recently had the opportunity to take part in an important immersive learning experience through an educational visit to an OVS store.

Guiding the students throughout the visit were Vincenzo Mandarà, Store Manager, and Micaela Sehovic, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, who introduced the class to the strategies, processes and professional roles that shape the contemporary retail landscape.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to observe first-hand the operations of one of the leading players in the Italian fashion industry, exploring key aspects related to store management, space organisation, visual merchandising and customer relationship dynamics.

Through direct dialogue with industry professionals, students gained a deeper understanding of how the retail environment today represents far more than a commercial space: it is a strategic setting where brand identity, customer experience and business performance converge to create a coherent, engaging and relevant shopping experience for the contemporary consumer.

The visit also offered insights into career pathways within the company, the skills required in the retail sector and the opportunities for growth and professional development within an international and constantly evolving organisation.
