VISEGRAD FUND – FASHION RESIDENCE PROGRAM

June 5th marked the beginning of the research program by Visegrad Fund  in sponsorship with Accademia Costume & Moda, offering the opportunity to four young artists and designers to immerse in workshops, masterclasses, uncover exhibitions, archives, and trade fairs and experience cultural activities throughout Milan and the rest of Italy.

The program will culminate in physical outputs the participants will realize thanks to a modern lab supported by Gianpiero Urzetta, focusing on innovative techniques.

Mr. Urzetta strongly believes that providing affordable access to professional machinery and equipment is crucial for emerging designers who aspire to create their own collections, this is why he set up an entire lab in our Milanese campus with the newest machineries and gave our students a 4 hour consultancy, and tailored support on how to use them in the most productive way.
