On December 12th 2022 Marina Spadafora, Spokeperson for Responsible Fashion, Sustainability Consultant, Coordinator of Fashion Revolution Italy and Professor of Sustainability in Fashion, together with Sara Sozzani Maino, Educational & Scouting initiatives Advisor Vogue Italia, International Brand Ambassador Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, participated in an interesting talk.
Marina, whose work has always included a strong focus on social and ecological justice, promoting the concept that ethics and aesthetics can coincide, is the spokesperson for ethical fashion in the world through the communication of the values of sustainability in both governmental and academic international fields.
She presented the initiative “Good Clothes, Fair Pay”, a year-long campaign carried out in collaboration with the Clean Clothes Campaign. One million signatures from EU citizens are needed to ask the European Commission to introduce legislation on living wage for the people who make our clothes.
