The Industry Project developed in collaboration with Subdued, involving our third-year BA in Fashion Editor, Styling & Communication students, concluded with its Final Presentation.
Following the Brief Launch and the Mid Revision, the project reached its final stage with a presentation day held at ACM’s new Esquilino Campus in Rome, while the Milan class joined remotely, creating a valuable opportunity for exchange between students, lecturers and the brand’s professionals.
Led by Project Leaders Fabio Corsini and Francesco Verdinelli, students presented the concepts they had developed over the past few months, showcasing the marketing and communication strategies created for Subdued and illustrating the research, analysis and creative development behind their final proposals.
The aim of the Industry Project was to design a multichannel communication campaign capable of interpreting the brand’s contemporary language while engaging authentically with younger generations.
To achieve this, the student teams developed two distinct creative directions: on the one hand, Guerrilla Branding and offline advertising initiatives, designed to create engaging urban experiences with strong sharing potential; on the other, an International Creator Tour, built around authentic storytelling and collaborations with creators and local communities.
During the Final Presentation, each group had the opportunity to present its ideas, explain its strategic decisions and showcase original project materials, including creative concepts, visuals, copywriting, shootings and mock-ups.
This marked a particularly significant stage in the project, allowing students to experience the dynamics of a professional presentation while strengthening their analytical skills, strategic thinking, public speaking abilities and teamwork.
The direct dialogue with the Subdued team provided invaluable feedback, further deepening students’ understanding of the dynamics that shape contemporary fashion communication and brand strategy.
Industry Projects are a defining element of the educational methodology at Accademia Costume & Moda, offering students the opportunity to work on real industry briefs, collaborate with leading fashion companies and develop practical skills that prepare them for the professional world.
Our sincere thanks to Arianna Zappitello, Marketing Manager, Sonia Giorgini, Sustainability Manager, and the entire Subdued team for supporting our students throughout this journey and for sharing their expertise, vision and valuable feedback.
