Within the historic heart of our Rome campus, the costume workshops have become the stage for the final projects of the Master’s students in The Art & Craft of the Costume Designer. Starting from two deceptively simple yet deeply complex prompts — the year 1895 as a historical setting and purple as the dominant colour — each student embarked on a journey of research and personal reinterpretation.
Delving into the customs, habits and styles of the late 19th century, they explored the many nuances of purple to create garments that are truly unique. Every stitch tells a story, every fabric choice and embellishment reflects the savoir-faire nurtured throughout the academic year.
A tender and passionate tribute to a complex era, woven with colour, technique and emotion. Stay Tuned to discover creations where tradition meets individuality, elegance blends with innovation.
