Accademia Costume & Moda will take part on 29 October 2025 in the eleventh edition of Fashion Graduate Italia, the fashion week dedicated to the best students from Italian and international schools, held at Base Milano. On this occasion, the Academy will present the Haute Couture Capsule Collections created by twelve designers from the Academic Master in Alta Moda, Fashion Design, under the guidance of Santo Costanzo, Director of the Fashion Department at ACM.
The collections are conceived as personal narratives, fragments of experience and vision translated into form, texture and silhouette. Each designer has given voice to their own sensitivity, exploring the dialogue between tradition and modernity, between the precision of sartorial technique and the freedom of creative experimentation. The result is a body of work that, while diverse, shares the same poetic tension — turning matter into emotion, fabric into language.
The twelve designers — Andrea Chiarato, And Something Else Happens and Everything Else is Gone; Carolina Balbinotto, Lovers; Joana Rrapaj, Whisper at the Wonder Bar; Leonardo Marinelli, Manquen; Maddalena Guidi, Il Luogo dei Fili Leggeri; Maria Luisa Muller, Tra le Lettere; Mattia Sechi, Inchiostro dell’Anima; Mia Hasak, Sunset; Mikhail Errol Albano, Bel Fisico; Pablo Andreozzi, La Città Invisibile; Ran Zhou, Cold Romans; and Sara Hegyi, Tessuti Dimenticati — compose a mosaic of aesthetics and ideas, where each garment becomes a narrative act and every detail, a mark of identity.
At the heart of the project lies sustainability, both as a value and as a concrete practice. In collaboration with manufacturing companies from the Made in Italy textile district, the designers worked with high-quality dead stockfabrics, giving new life to forgotten materials and emphasising the connection between innovation, awareness and artisanal heritage.
Through its participation, Accademia Costume & Moda reaffirms its commitment to training creators of conscious beauty, capable of interpreting the present and imagining the future with sensitivity and precision. At Fashion Graduate Italia, their creations will be more than garments on a runway — they will stand as small statements of intent: expressions of how fashion can still move, transform, and above all, make us think.
