In the heart of Rome, at Piazza Mignanelli, there is a place where time stands still, woven into the very essence of haute couture. The students of the Master in Alta Moda, Fashion Design at Academia Costume & Moda had the extraordinary opportunity to step into the prestigious Maison Valentino, immersing themselves in the magic of its Ateliers and Historical Archive.
Guided by Violate Valendettaro, our students explored the spaces where the excellence of the Maison de Couture is born, experiencing an exclusive educational journey alongside master artisans and the iconic creations that have shaped fashion history. Among original sketches and historic garments, they observed up close the creative and artisanal processes that define haute couture_a world of meticulous details, research, and innovation.
Access to prestigious institutions like Mason Valentino is a key element in the training of our Master in Haute Couture, Fashion Design students. This visit allowed them to deeply understand the fusion of tradition and modernity that defines the work of a great fashion house, enriching their educational journey with a tangible and inspiring experience.
