Visual and Product Merchandising: New Specialization Courses in Milan

The academic offer of the Milan campus already including the Bachelor of Arts Courses (“Fashion Editor, Styling & Communication” and “Fashion Design Management”), enriches with 2 new Specialization Courses available for the a.y 2020/2021: “Visual Merchandising” and “Product Merchandising”, both addressed to professionals of the sector and to those who wish to pursue a highly specializing study path.

The Specialization Courses, are aimed at offering a direct transfer of knowledge and new competences to those who need to balance education and professional career.  A dynamic academic offer that will grow more and more with new programmes different in duration and attendance modalities, based on specific learning outcomes or professional objectives.

Specialization Course in Product Merchandising

The course will be taught in English. The attendance is required only on Saturdays in order to allow working students to participate actively in the course plus a final intensive week to be attended in Milan.

There are 3 intakes available: October (blended learning modality – alternating online and in presence classes), February and May.

The course that has the shape of creative business, focuses on different aspects such as: trend identification, product development, range, workflow management, pricing and product analysis, brand management, optimization skills for buying through a critical analysis of sales and competitors.

Duration: 1 month

Specialization Course in Visual Merchandising

Developed in collaboration with Slowear, the course is taught in Italian and requires attendance on Saturdays to allow working students to attend the course plus a final intensive week to be attended in Milan.

There are 3 intakes available: October (blended learning – alternating online and in presence classes), February and May.

The course has the aim of preparing strategic Visual Merchandiser able to interact with all the various departments within a brand that operate in retail.

Participants will acquire the ability to recognize the creative peculiarities and the brand policies, moods and themes of the collections in order to communicate them in the best way inside the store by experimenting the fitting of corners, showrooms and windows in shops or chain stores.
