BLAZÈ MILANO INDUSTRY PROJECT | LAUNCH OF THE BRIEF AND MID REVISION | BA IN FASHION BUSINESS: FASHION PRODUCT SYSTEM

In today’s fashion industry, building a brand means far more than simply creating a product. It means developing a vision, understanding positioning, interpreting the market and transforming creative intuition into concrete strategies.

It is from this awareness that one of the Industry Project developed within our BA in Fashion Business: Fashion Product System takes shape. This year, students are collaborating with BLAZÈ Milano.

The project began with the official launch of the brief by the Blazé Milano team, who introduced students to the brand’s history, values and positioning, offering them a direct insight into the strategic and creative dynamics behind an internationally recognised contemporary luxury brand.

Founded by Corrada Rodriguez d’Acri, Delfina Pinardi and Maria Sole Torlonia, Blazé Milano is internationally known for its sophisticated approach to womenswear tailoring and for its ability to reinterpret Italian sartorial heritage through a contemporary and distinctive visual language. Students were invited to analyse, interpret and expand this identity through the development of a strategic project proposal.

Following an initial phase of research and development, students also had the opportunity to engage directly with the brand’s professionals during a Mid Revision — a key moment within the project that allowed them to present ideas, analyses and creative directions while receiving concrete feedback, observations and guidance from the Blazé Milano team.

An immersive experience that enables students to understand how projects are truly developed within today’s fashion system: from market research and consumer analysis to branding, communication and the construction of strategies aligned with a brand’s identity.

Within the BA in Fashion Business: Fashion Product System, education is built through a strongly project-based approach connected to the realities of the professional industry. Industry Projects represent a fundamental part of the programme, giving students the opportunity to work on real briefs while engaging directly with companies, professionals and the dynamics of the fashion sector.

Because today, working in fashion business means knowing how to connect creativity, strategy and contemporary vision. It means learning how to interpret the market, anticipate change and build systems of value capable of engaging with culture, communication and product.

And it is precisely through experiences like this that students begin to concretely imagine their future within the world of fashion.
