Wednesday the 27th of June, the Accademia Costume & Moda presented the Industry and Personal projects of the Undergraduate (180 credits), Master’s (60 credits), Vocational and Intensive courses students during Accademia Factory, event with the patronage of Altaroma.
“Accademia Factory has been, again, a moment of dialogue between the Accademia, the city of Rome and its creative manufacturers. We are very proud of the resoults obtained by our students for their Industry and Personal projects. We are also thankful to the companies who support them and to our teachers who follow and push them every day. Factory is a party and the Accademia is a big family”, says the Deputy Chairman Lupo Lanzara.
Among the new initiatives, the projects of the Undergraduate Programs in Costume & Fashion, and Fashion Editor, Styling & Communication with The Woolmark Company, Woolrich, Wool Lab, UNIC & Gucci, Vocational Courses with Blumarine and those of our Master’s Degrees with Maison Valentino, Salvatore Ferragamo, Max Mara, Napapijri, Roberto Collina, Ermanno Scervino, Benetton, Falcinelli and Chevalier Project. Attached the full description.
The relationship with the Made in Italy manufacturers, Fashion Houses and Entertainment Productions continues to evolve. The Accademia maintains a strong commitment in the educational approach, aimed at fostering student’s creative individuality and at careers placement, maximizing their cultural experience and facilitating the encounter between Costume and Fashion, Research and Design, Communication and Product. All of the above is translated in a direct involvement of the students within their academic career, in activities that allow growth and consciousness by transmitting to them knowledge and competence.
The Exhibition is thought to immerse the visitor in the Accademia, transforming it into a stage, a film set, a creative laboratory, an atelier, a newsroom.
