BIOGRAPHY
Costume Designer, with over fourty-years’ experience, Andrea Viotti started his career in Sartoria Tirelli in Rome, where he learned the fundamentals of his profession. Since then, he has worked on more than 100 theatre productions from prose, lyrical opera and ballet. Having worked on dozens of films Andrea Viotti has been nominated for the award David di Donatello (the Italian Oscar) for costumes and many television productions. With more than 20 publications to his name, he shares his knowledge with the Accademia as Director of the Costume Design Department by offering an experience to his students of a very comprehensive approach to the field.
