A new chapter: welcome day

 The 2026/2027 academic year begins at the Rome MAS and Milan campuses, marking a new chapter of learning, research and collaboration for students on ACM’s three-year undergraduate programmes.

A new academic year brings new people to meet, ideas to explore and skills to develop. Accademia Costume & Moda welcomes students to its BA programmes at the Rome MAS Campus, on Via Pellegrino Rossi, and the Milan Campus, on Via Antonio Fogazzaro, beginning a journey in which creativity, experimentation and collaboration support both personal and professional growth.

For those joining Accademia for the first time, this is an opportunity to meet fellow students and tutors, discover new areas of study and begin shaping their ambitions. For returning students, it is a chance to deepen their research, put their skills into practice and take on new creative challenges.

From Ideas to Projects: A Shared Learning Journey

Costume and fashion design, pattern cutting and tailoring, styling and communication, business and management, graphic and media design: Accademia Costume & Moda’s three-year undergraduate programmes bring together different disciplines, approaches and perspectives. This exchange encourages students to broaden their references, develop a critical outlook and learn how to turn an idea into a tangible project.

Lectures, workshops and opportunities for discussion form part of a learning experience in which research and practice inform one another. Each project offers a chance to ask questions, explore possible solutions and gradually find an individual creative direction.

Becoming Part of the ACM Community

Life at Accademia extends beyond the classroom. It takes shape through exchanges between students, conversations with tutors and opportunities to share interests, perspectives and goals. Across the Rome and Milan campuses, being part of the ACM community means contributing to an environment where students grow together, learning from one another’s experiences and points of view.

We wish all our students a year filled with curiosity, commitment and openness. A year to find inspiration in new discoveries, approach challenges as opportunities to learn, and give themselves the space to explore, rethink and experiment.
