Towards Fashion Graduate Italia 2026 | Master in Alta Moda, Fashion Design

Our 11 students from the Master in Alta Moda, Fashion Design are preparing for Fashion Graduate Italia 2026, where they will present their Haute Couture Capsule Collections on 27 October at 5:00 PM at BASE Milano.

Ahead of the fashion show, the students took part in an important selection and review session, presenting their projects to Albino D’Amato, Creative & Design Director, Roberto Carlologgi, ACM Lecturer and Designer, and Simona Petrollini, ACM Lecturer and Art Director.

The session provided an opportunity to share the research and development behind their collections, engage with different professional perspectives and receive valuable feedback at a crucial stage in their preparations for the runway.

The Selection: A Dialogue Between Creativity, Craftsmanship and Design Vision

During the selection, the eleven designers presented their creative proposals, sharing the concepts, sources of inspiration, material research and design decisions that define the identity of each collection.

From the construction of silhouettes to experimentation with volumes, shapes and techniques, each project reflects an individual creative journey in which research, sartorial expertise and contemporary sensibility come together.

The exchange with Albino D’Amato, Roberto Carlologgi and Simona Petrollini provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue and in-depth discussion, allowing students to reflect on their work through the perspectives of professionals working across fashion design and creative direction.

Their observations, suggestions and insights helped enrich the creative process, guiding students towards the final development of the collections they will present in Milan.

From Atelier to Runway: The ACM Educational Approach

The selection represents a significant milestone in the Master in Alta Moda, Fashion Design, led by Santo Costanzo, Head of the Fashion and Costume Department.

Throughout the programme, students develop creative and technical skills through an approach that combines research, design development, material experimentation and an in-depth understanding of Haute Couture techniques.

Engagement with industry professionals is central to the ACM educational approach, enabling students to experience the realities of the fashion industry first-hand and understand how a creative vision can evolve through the contribution of different skills, experiences and perspectives.

The development of the capsule collections also highlights the relationship between Italian sartorial heritage and innovation, encouraging each designer to establish a distinctive aesthetic language through which to express their individual identity.

Fashion Graduate Italia 2026: Eleven Visions of Contemporary Haute Couture

The next milestone will be the 12th edition of Fashion Graduate Italia, organised by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS and dedicated to showcasing emerging talent from Italian and international fashion schools. The event will take place from 27 to 29 October 2026 at BASE Milano.

Accademia Costume & Moda’s participation offers the eleven designers an important opportunity to present the results of their creative journeys to an audience of industry professionals, companies, members of the press and fashion enthusiasts.

The exchange of ideas and perspectives during the selection marks another important step in their development, bringing them closer to the moment when months of research, experimentation and work in the atelier will finally take shape on the runway.

Join us on 27 October 2026, at 5:00 PM, at BASE Milano, Via Tortona 54 – Gate 1.
