Fashion is not just what you see. It is everything you are able to make others see.
The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Editor, Styling & Communication starts with fashion and the desire to understand, interpret and communicate it. It is a programme that brings together fashion culture, research and creative development, helping you understand how a story takes shape and how to turn it into communication that leaves a lasting impression.
Styling, photography, publishing, visual communication, marketing, PR, social media and Fashion Film become the languages through which you learn to read fashion and build its narrative. You work across different media and formats, learning to choose the one best suited to giving shape to an idea: a magazine, a photoshoot, a campaign, a brand identity or a digital piece of content. Every project becomes an opportunity to experiment and develop your own way of looking at and communicating fashion.
Throughout the programme, you work on editorial projects, Industry Projects, photoshoots and workshops, engaging with professionals, brands and communication companies. Fashion is therefore not simply observed through images and content: you learn to understand its languages, processes and key players from within, progressively moving between research and production, creativity and strategy.
In your third year, you begin to define what sets you apart. You explore digital and independent publishing, styling, contemporary photography, brand experience, events, video and new media in greater depth. Your portfolio takes shape alongside your professional identity, through projects that show not only what you can do, but above all how you see fashion and which stories you choose to tell.
Because communicating fashion is not simply about telling the story of something that already exists. It means interpreting it, giving it direction and deciding how it will be seen, remembered and understood.
