BIOGRAPHY
Born in Rome to a Neapolitan father and a Franco-Italian mother, he studied architecture in Rome and industrial design for a year in Turin, also working for the Fiat style centre. At the age of 20 he moved to Paris, where he attended courses in fashion at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture. He began working for Emmanuel Ungaro and later collaborated with Guy Laroche, Lolita Lempicka and Emilio Pucci. Back in Italy, in Milan he worked first for Dolce & Gabbana and then for Armani. Thanks to the help of his current business partner, interior designer Gianfranco Fenizia, in 2004 he presented his first collection. In 2005 he won the competition organized by Vogue and the Chamber of Fashion "Who’s On Next?": this leads to a very significant increase in work and visibility of the brand, but also imposed a greater quality of service. Fabrics are the starting point of each collection: the designer loves full-bodied fabrics, suitable for constructions and deconstructions that transform the outerwear into a dress and shape shapes through curls, zips, cuts, knots and other virtuosity of structure.
