Milan
Since 2020, ACM’s identity at the heart of the fashion system. At 23 Via Fogazzaro, a 1,200 m² industrial space dedicated to communication, styling, business and sustainability.
THE LOCATION
An industrial
identity.
A short walk from Piazza Cinque Giornate and Corso di Porta Vittoria, in the heart of the Porta Romana district, the campus was created through the conversion of an industrial space whose original architectural character has been preserved. The project uses environmentally responsible materials and creates a balance between industrial heritage, flexibility and new ways of experiencing education. Classrooms, Styling Labs, exhibition spaces, communal areas and outdoor environments form an open, adaptable campus. A place designed to host lectures, shoots, reviews, installations, encounters with industry and moments of shared campus life. Bringing ACM to Milan did not mean replicating Rome. It meant placing its identity in dialogue with a different city: international, productive and constantly shaped by new languages, professions and business models.

Research continues
at Bocconi
Through the agreement between the Fiamma Lanzara Library and the Bocconi University Library, students at ACM’s Milan campus are the only students from a Milan higher education institution able to access the Bocconi University Library and consult its collections to explore economics, management, markets and the social sciences.
This body of knowledge complements ACM’s specialist resources and broadens research beyond the boundaries of fashion, connecting design culture, business and changes in society.

Transforming while preserving the Genius loci
The campus’s approach to sustainability begins with the decision to regenerate an existing space, preserving its industrial identity while giving it a new purpose.
Environmentally responsible materials, flexible environments and 25 kW of photovoltaic panels help reduce the building’s impact and everyday energy use.
The same principle runs through the educational experience: understanding the fashion system means learning to assess its processes, resources, responsibilities and potential for transformation.
THE CITY · MILAN
Where fashion
becomes a system
In Milan, creativity, product, communication and business coexist within the same ecosystem. Fashion houses, companies, showrooms, agencies, studios, publishing and international events make the city a direct vantage point on the industry’s transformation. This location allows students to experience Milan not simply as a backdrop, but as part of their education. Encounters, Fashion Week, exhibitions, presentations and professional relationships continue beyond the classroom. Studying here means observing the system as it happens and beginning to take part in it.
