ACM TALENTS 2024 – LA SELEZIONE

As every year, the ACM Talents is back, an event that offers 20 selected students of the third year BA in Costume and Fashion the opportunity to create and see a personal Capsule Collection (Clothing and/ or Accessories) of free inspiration, in front of a jury of industry experts, press and buyers.

The Talents of Accademia Costume & Moda represents the synthesis of a three-year training course, which aims to bring out the level of professionalism achieved by each of the students involved.

Our students have ventured into different topics related both to their personal experiences and to sustainability and upcycling, using fabrics and leathers studied and not always coming from the fashion sector, to demonstrate their creative flair and minimize their environmental production impact.

In this #ACMTalents2024 edition, we will see the collections of:

Fashion Design – Beartrice Bartolocci, Tommaso Chini, Michael Di Giovanni, Nosakhare Ekhator, Tommaso La Sala, Viola Marchiori, Eleonora Moreschini, Alessio Mussati, Giorgio Natti Rainieri, Ji Su Park, Mattia Pozzo, Letizia Sarasso, Tobia Setten e Martina Trimboli.

Accessories Design – Federica Cosimelli, Matilde Di Tommaso, Alice Ercoli, Julia Frenguelli, Sabrina Raus e Alice Rotoni.

The Commission, which selected the students, was made up of industry experts, such as: Stefano Chiassai, Founder & Creative Director of StudioChiassai and RTW, Fur & Leisure Designer, Fendi; Simonetta Gianfelici, Fashion Consultant & Talent Scout; Piergiorgio Meschini, #ACMAlumnus and W/M Celebrieties Head Designer, Dolce&Gabbana; Alessia Pellarini, Design Director Womenswear Ready To Wear and Fur and Andrea Renieri, Head Designer Leathergoods W/M, Ferragamo.

All the collections examined were evaluated on the basis of the stylistic research carried out by the student; the identity of the individual Capsule Collections and the presentation to the commission, which aimed to demonstrate the professionalism acquired during the three-year period

Throughout the development and creation of the garments and accessories, the students will be supervised by the Director of the Fashion Department, Santo Costanzo, and by the Director of the Accessories Department, Luigi Mulas.

To frame the creativity of the students there will be the support of the Manufacturing Companies of the Academy community, which, like every year, sponsors and accompanies the students up to the final presentation, scheduled for February 2024.

Over the next few months the selected guys will work hard to create their collections, and we can’t wait to see the final result!

Congratulations to the whole class for the commitment and passion shown and thanks to the jury for the time dedicated to our boys!
