ACM shines at Milano Moda Graduate 2025

Accademia Costume & Moda proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its students at Milano Moda Graduate 2025, promoted by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the most prestigious competition in Italy dedicated to emerging fashion designers.

This year, three alumni of the BA in Costume & Fashion showcased their collections on the Milan stage, all developed within the Talents 2025 Project and unveiled last April at the Academy’s new campus at Ex Magazzini allo Statuto in Rome.

Francesca Paola Di Fazio – Winner of the YKK Award 2025

With her collection BLACK BOX, Francesca explored the “black box” both as a flight recorder and as a metaphor for lived experience. Each piece reflects boundaries between inner and outer worlds, shaped by stories and anonymous voices. A poetic reflection on identity, memory, and the transformative power of acceptance.

Antonio Contartese – Fashion Design Finalist

His collection “PLOT, CIRCLE, COUNTERPOINT” is a journey through destiny, eternal return, and harmony of opposites. Couture meets sportswear, tailoring blends with fluidity, creating a visual symphony of fabrics, shapes, and colours through jacquards, prints, and symbolic details.

Jacopo Cocci – Fashion Design Finalist

With his collection YŌZO, inspired by No Longer Human, Jacopo presents a fragmented confession where fragility becomes quiet resistance. Fringes, bleached grids, and floral traces convey fractured identity, while soft silhouettes protect vulnerability. A blue and grey palette mirrors the emotional distance of YŌZO’s inner world.

The Milano Moda Graduate is the benchmark contest for Italian emerging talents, celebrating every year the best young creatives in the fashion sector. Since 2017, Accademia Costume & Moda has been among the most awarded schools, with 3 CNMI Fashion Award victories (2018, 2021, 2022) and several special prizes.

Talents 2025 Project

The collections of Francesca, Antonio, and Jacopo are part of the Talents 2025 Project, a key platform where students present their work to industry professionals, companies, and international media.
