What if graphic design were just the beginning?
The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic & Media Design starts with the foundations of Graphic Design and visual design, taking you into the languages of contemporary communication. Graphic design, photography, video, motion design, interaction, digital media and Artificial Intelligence gradually become tools through which you can transform ideas and images into content, systems and experiences.
You begin with composition, typography, layout and image-making. You build a method, learn how to read a project and give shape to a vision. Then you broaden your perspective: photography, video-making, motion graphics, digital content, interaction, gamification and Artificial Intelligence tools progressively become part of the way you design. You do not simply learn how to use tools: you learn how to choose which language to use, why and for whom.
Theory is constantly put into practice. Through workshops, Design Studios and projects with brands and professionals, you work on concepts, campaigns, audiovisual content, visual identities, interactive experiences and digital projects. You start with an idea and learn to understand which form it should take: an image, a graphic identity, a video, an interactive system, a brand experience or a digital environment.
In the second and third years, your projects grow with you. You explore art direction, concept strategy, branded video, experience design, AI visuals, sound design, 3D environments and interactive media, learning how to bring different languages together and develop increasingly complex projects. It is not about accumulating technologies, but about integrating tools and languages within a coherent design vision.
The final year is when everything starts to take a more defined direction: you develop your creative identity, work on integrated projects and engage with the professional dynamics of the creative industries. Industry Projects, activities with companies and professionals, and your final project become opportunities to turn what you have learned into a portfolio that communicates your method, research and approach to design.
Because today, communication is not about choosing between paper and screen, image and video, real and digital. It is about knowing how to design connections, choose the right languages and find your own way of making them work together.
