Introduction

Bags, footwear, leather goods: turn research and creativity into new languages of Made in Italy design.

Designing an accessory means giving shape to an idea.

A bag, a shoe or a small leather good can bring together research, culture, technical expertise and identity. The Master in Accessories Design takes you into this world, teaching you how to design and develop products for the fashion industry, from research through to realisation.

The programme focuses in particular on bags, footwear and small leather goods, bringing together design culture, material research, representation techniques, design and prototyping.

Throughout the year, you will move between research, design and experimentation. You will learn how to turn an intuition into a project, select materials and manufacturing techniques, develop a product and define its identity and positioning. Workshops, practical activities and prototyping sessions allow you to engage directly with the artisanal and industrial processes of the supply chain.

Design therefore meets the reality of industry. Industry Projects, collaborations with companies, company visits, meetings with professionals and a curricular internship give you the opportunity to work on real briefs and engage with the requirements of production.

A programme where creativity and technical expertise work together, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, craftsmanship and the culture of Made in Italy.
