BIOGRAPHY
Roman, class of 1980.
After graduating in Economics, the decision to undertake studies at the Fashion Academy in Rome marks the turning point of his professional path.
A path dense with human encounters and important experiences that will lead him to create an innovative and deeply conscious approach to fashion: ECOuture.
An “evolutionary” way of doing couture, which skillfully mixes tailoring, innovation, respect and experimentation.
This is, in short, the philosophy of Tiziano Guardini, a designer who has always been attentive to research in all its forms.
In 2012, he participated in Limited/Unlimited Edition by proposing the “pine needles” jacket, defining his emotional dialogue, in which the human returns to nature and engages with the elements.
In the same year, he was invited to participate in the Vogue Fashion Night Out in Rome and showcased one of his creations in the historic Trinità dei Monti.
Among his main milestones in 2013, he exhibited some of his creations at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
In 2014, he was invited as a guest at the United Nations in Geneva as part of the event Fashion for Forest and Forest for Fashion, together with Michelangelo Pistoletto, with whom he began a dialogue and collaboration that is still active and continuously evolving.
In 2017, he created his first collection with Vegea, the bio-based leather alternative derived from wine production waste, which earned him the PETA Couture Award.
In the same year, he became the first to win the “Franca Sozzani, GGC Fashion Award as Best Emerging Designer” at Teatro alla Scala.
Moreover, his work as a designer alternates between prêt-à-porter and haute couture productions, continuing, for the latter, to exhibit in museums around the world, such as in the Fashioned From Nature exhibition at the V&A Museum, Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge at Expo Dubai 2020, and Rara Avis: Moda in Volo at the Colosseum Complex.
A creative practice, that of Tiziano Guardini, which becomes an expression of global awareness, in which we return to living in harmony with nature, because, as he himself says, “there is no difference between us and the environment.”
