Rome
Rondinella
More than 2,000 m² in the historic heart of Rome, opposite Castel Sant’Angelo. Rondinella is ACM’s historic home and the campus dedicated to Master’s programmes in Haute Couture and Fashion Design, Costume Design, Fabrics Innovation Design and Menswear Design.
Classrooms, ateliers, tailoring workshops, spaces for stage make-up, a Textile Library dedicated to material research and an Auditorium create an environment in which every phase of a project can be developed and shared: from research to drawing, from fabric to construction and, finally, presentation.
Here, specialisation does not mean narrowing your perspective. It means making it more precise.
THE LOCATION
More than 2,000 m²
within the history of Rome
The campus extends across a total area of more than 2,000 m² within a building designed by Vincenzo Fasolo between 1923 and 1925, where Rome’s historic centre meets the River Tiber and the three-pronged approach to Ponte Sant’Angelo.
The building includes classrooms, ateliers and specialist workshops, research and consultation spaces, communal areas, offices and services. Its varied environments allow education, experimentation and the life of the academic community to coexist in one place.
Its architecture was conceived in relation to the city: articulated volumes, light-filled interiors and large windows that follow the staircase and open the view towards Castel Sant’Angelo.
Entering Rondinella each day means studying within Rome, not simply beside its history. The light, the building’s proportions and its views across the city become part of the educational experience.

Rome
The city continues
beyond the classroom.
Castel Sant’Angelo opposite. Piazza Navona a short walk away. All around, a system of archives, film and theatre costume workshops, ateliers, museums, theatres and manufacturers that makes Rome a unique place to study fashion and costume.
Here, the city is more than a setting. It is a constant source of research: in its layers of history, its architecture, cinema, performing arts and culture of making.
It is the same Rome chosen by leading international fashion houses founded in the city as the place in which to preserve and renew their identities. A creative ecosystem where history and industry continue to produce contemporary languages.
