Accreditation

Accademia Costume & Moda offers a wide range of courses legally recognised by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research (Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca) under the body that rules Artistic Higher Education (Alta Formazione Artistica Musicale e Coreutica).

The Bachelor of Arts (3-year programme), the Academic Master (1-year programme) and the Master of Arts (2-year programme) give academic credits (ECTS) and titles that may allow the students of the Accademia to carry on their study paths nationally and internationally.

In 2005, the Ministers of Higher Education of the Bologna Process signatory countries decided to develop the Qualifications Framework for the European Higher Education Area – QF for the EHEA.
The Framework comprises the three main cycles of Higher Education, as defined by the Bologna Process, and offers an overview of all qualifications awarded at the end of each cycle, with reference to the number of ECTS credits collected and to the learning outcomes (Dublin Descriptors).

The Qualifications Framework for the European Higher Education Area is aimed at facilitating the correct understanding and comparability of qualifications in the Higher Education systems of each country. A further aim of the Framework is to offer a comprehensive overview of the European teaching and learning offer, targeted at the students coming from all over the world. Each country committed to put together a National Qualifications Framework – NQF which is compatible with the Qualifications Framework for the European Higher Education Area.

ISO 9001:2005 Certification

Accademia Costume & Moda is certified by SGS for the ISO 9001:2015 requisites and standards for the “Design and Organization of Higher Education courses”, ISO certification which has been confirmed for more than 15 years.
