Graduate Fashion Foundation has announced the finalists of GFF 2020 Awards, the international contest for young talented, choosing, for two of the twenty-two categories, Alice Piscedda and Alessia Di Seclì, Alumnae Accademia.
Graduate Fashion Foundation is a charitable organization founded in 1991 and an essential part of the fashion industry. It is the springboard for new talent, as it has been for some of the most successful designers of our time including Christopher Bailey MBE, Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, Matthew Williamson and Julien MacDonald to name a few
Over the past 28 years, more than 100,000 newly graduated and undergraduate students have been supported and guided by the charity. GFF aim’s remains the same today; dedication to encouraging young people, helping them find employment and get the best start possible in the fashion industry.
“As always we are proud of our graduating students. This very particular year, 2020, we were particularly fortunate that all student work and fashion show was completed in January 2020. The two GFF selected finalists for GFW 2020 Alessia Di Secli and Alice Piscedda have beautifully completed collections and portfolios. Along with many other #ACMTalents2020 students their work will be on display at the GFW revised event at Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross, London to celebrate the International Class of 2020, throughout London Fashion Week, Thursday 17th – Tuesday 22nd September, primarily at the incredible Samsung KX venue. This event will include showroom of fashion garments, and a private view for digital portfolios.“
