Sara Citterio

After graduating in Law with an international focus from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 1996, she began her professional career as an in-house counsel at the Istituto Auxologico Italiano. In May 2001, she joined the Trussardi Group, where she currently holds the position of Group General Counsel.

A member of both the Group Supervisory Body and the Internal Sustainability Committee, she also serves as the Head of Group Corporate Secretariat.

She qualified as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Milan in 2007.

She was a member of the board of directors of Indicam from 2017 to 2021, and of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) Italy from 2019 to 2022.

A speaker at numerous conferences on various aspects of fashion law, she has also been a lecturer for several years at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome as part of the Second Level Master’s Degree in Fashion Law, as well as at other prestigious higher education institutions. She is the author of contributions to scientific publications on fashion law, corporate law, antitrust regulations, and sustainability.
