CARLO BRONDI

Senior researcher at the Institute of Intelligent Industrial Systems and Technologies for Advanced Manufacturing of the National Research Council (Cnr-STIIMA). 

Responsible for sustainability activities in European, national and regional research projects. He has gained experience in life cycle analysis (LCA) and on sustainability analysis of industrial technologies. 

More than 20 research projects, twelve of them at the European level, producing more than 70 research products including scientific articles, books, software tools, conference papers and scientific reports. 

Implementation of LCA methodology in different industrial tools, in the creation of specific tools for solving specific analysis problems, in the adaptation of computational methodologies to different industrial paradigms, and in the implementation of mathematical methods to improve their reliability. 

Coordinator and expert delegate of the Cnr in several panels for voluntary standardization for sustainability (ISO/TC 323, UNI/CT 057, ISO/TC 207, UNI/CT 04, EPD, PEF, ICEC) and in several bodies and organizations for the support of ecological transition (MISE, Symbiosis User Network, Italian LCA Network, ESTEP). 

In the fashion field, he has been involved in the promotion of several certification schemes and technology transfer for companies in the footwear, leather and textile industries.
