Accademia Costume & Moda will present Talents 2018 Fashion Show during AltaRoma on Saturday, 27 January 2018. Fifteen capsule collections divided in menswear, womenswear and accessories to highlight the studies undertaken by each undergraduate designer during their three-year Degree in Costume & Fashion (180 ECTS Credits): “culture & research”, “creativity & design”, “prototyping & product”.
Directed by Santo Costanzo and Luigi Mulas Debois for accessories, Tommaso Ambrosca, Alessandra Caponera, Alessia Conetta, Giulia Conti, Cristiana Guaglianone, Mauro Muzio Medaglia, Cristiana Navarra, Oriana Pastore, Sara Pavani, Giacomo Pavia, Federica Polli, Livia Romoli Venturi, Giulia Saba, Flaminia Sebastianelli and Emanuela Vetrano, will showcase their collections for the first time during Rome Fashion Week, AltaRoma.
To give the maximum visibility of their creative inspiration, personality and stylistic abilities of its Talents 2018, Accademia Costume & Moda gathers a Jury of very important professionals of the international Fashion Industry to judge each collection and choose one winner for the category of Fashion and one for Accessories. This recognition underlines the unique work of research and experimentation supported by the Accademia developing emerging talents of tomorrow.

Pitti Immagine, through Pitti Tutorship directed by Riccardo Vannetti for the support of fashion designers, will present, once again, the Pitti Tutorship Reward to one of the Accademia Talents 2018. Established last year, the award gives young designers the opportunity to have three mentoring meetings with Riccardo Vannetti with the aim of entering the industry: (1) Portfolio Review / Setup, (2) Orientation Meeting, (3) Strategy Meeting, has already taken place for last year’s Pitti winner Ludovica Serra (Talents 2017)
Special thanks for supporting the Talents 2018 in their textile research and development, goes to Marco Mastroianni, Accademia Costume & Moda alumni, Head of Textile Research and Development for some of the most prestigious Maison in the world. Moreover, Accademia Costume & Moda presents with an exhibition at Contemporary Cluster in Via dei Barbieri, 7 the final projects of last Academic Year Master’s Degrees, ended in November 2017: Accessories Design, Alta Moda and Costume Design; the Exhibition will be open from 18:00 to 24:00.
