ACM TALENTS 2017

TALENTS 2017 FASHION SHOW

Saturday 28 January, Accademia Costume & Moda showed its 15 Talents 2017 collections during AltaRoma. Diana Aparo, Flavia Cavasino, Rossella Coppola, Ilaria De Felice, Valeria Grussu, Serena Iavarone, Elena Materia, Francesca Nori, Silvia Perrucci, Tea Righini, Monia Romano, Flaminia Rossi, Alessio Rossi, Giulia Schisano e Ludovica Serra made their debut in front of the press and a jury composed by some of the most important personalities from the international fashion system.

Appareal, to Diana Aparo, Accessories, to Alessio Rossi and the First “Pitti Tutorship Reward” to Francesca Nori, are the three prizes given this year.

This year’s jury was composed by Gianpiero Arcese (Creative Director Curiel), Burak Cakmak (Dean of Fashion di Parsons School of Design di New York), Livia Carimini (Assistant Haute Couture Valentino), Giovanna Gentile Ferragamo (Vice Presidente Ferragamo), Deanna Ferretti Veroni, (Modateca Deanna), Simonetta Gianfelici (Fashion Consultant & Talent Scout), Andrea Incontri (Creative Director Uomo Tods, Founder and Creative Director Andrea Incontri), Laura Lusuardi (Fashion Coordinator Moda Max Mara), Sara Maino (Editor in chief Fashion Vogue Italia and Vogue Talents), Raffaello Napoleone (Amministratore Delegato Pitti Immagine), Fausto Puglisi (Creative Director Ungaro, founder and Creative Director Fausto Puglisi), Tom Rebl (Founder and Creative Director Tom Rebl), Elinor Renfrew (Head of Fashion della Kingston University) and Silvia Venturini Fendi (Chairman AltaRoma).

The jury recognised a high value for research and a strong self-determination in the designs of each Talents 2017.

Francesca Nori, who won the first “Pitti Tutorship Reward”, will be supported by the Tutorship Director of Pitti Tutorship Division Riccardo Vannetti in three different steps – Portfolio review/setup, Orientation Meeting and Strategy Meeting.
