There are experiences that shape a journey, not because they appear extraordinary on paper, but because they truly transform those who live them. This is exactly what happened to the students of Accademia Costume & Moda who took part in the creation of the exhibition displays for “VENUS – Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos”, hosted at PM23 in Rome.
Within a project that brings into dialogue the haute couture of Valentino Garavani and the visionary world of Joana Vasconcelos, the students were not mere observers. They worked, built and experimented. They engaged directly with the complexity and beauty of a real exhibition, contributing to an immersive experience that now welcomes visitors from across the globe.
In those moments, the boundary between classroom and profession disappeared. Knowledge became action, and ideas became space. Guided by their tutors and immersed in an international context, the students experienced what Accademia Costume & Moda makes possible every day: learning through practice, growing within real processes, and engaging with the highest standards.
This is where education finds its true meaning. Not as something abstract, but as a living experience. Not as a promise, but as a tangible opportunity.
Joining Accademia Costume & Moda means exactly this: not waiting for the future, but beginning to shape it from the very start.
