Accademia Costume & Moda is delighted to share with great pride the success of its former student, Giulia Moschioni, recently nominated for the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2025 in the category Outstanding Contemporary Costumes For A Series for her work on the episode “Same Spirits, New Forms” of the acclaimed series The White Lotus.
Giulia, our alumna, recently travelled to Los Angeles for the ceremony, where she participated as Assistant Costume Designer alongside Alex Bovaird, the series’ lead costume designer. By her side was Clara Virginia Povolo, another ACM Alumna, who works as her assistant. Two journeys that crossed paths at ACM now meet on an international stage: a moment that moves and inspires our entire community.
A special recognition goes to Andrea Viotti, Coordinator of the Fashion Department at ACM, for the leadership, vision, and consistency he has maintained over the years. Giulia’s nomination, as well as Virginia’s career path, also reflects the quality and strength of a department that continues to establish itself as a point of reference at an international level.
Giulia began her journey in costume design at ACM and has continued to build a brilliant international career, collaborating on high-profile productions such as The Little Mermaid (2023) and True Detective: Night Country (2024). The Emmy nomination represents a prestigious recognition of her creativity, dedication, and the talent that has always distinguished her.
We are proud to see our former students reach such important milestones and carry the Accademia Costume & Moda signature onto the global stage of costume design for film and television.
Congratulations, Giulia! Your success is an inspiration to our entire community.
