Made in Italy takes centre stage in Japan with the opening leg of the Italian Fashion Days in the World 2025, running until 7 August at the Italian Pavilion at Expo Osaka.
The initiative, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation together with Italian Trade Agency and the leading industry associations, including Confindustria Accessori Moda, aims to support and promote the internationalisation of #MadeInItaly.
Japan, the fifth largest market worldwide for Italian fashion accessories, recorded exports worth €1.2 billion in 2024 (+6.8% compared to 2023 and +56% compared to 2019).
Within the collective curated by Clara Tosi Pamphili – which tells the story of an Italy of fashion built on sartorial quality, innovation, sustainability and the creative reuse of materials – is the work of Alice Ercoli, a young Roman designer trained at Accademia Costume & Moda.
Her full leather total look – including dress, bag and footwear – belongs to a collection inspired by the theme of identity. Retro silhouettes, 1960s and ’70s graphics and a vibrant yet refined palette blend with artisanal attention to detail, reflecting the richness of contemporary identities.
Accademia Costume & Moda is proud and grateful for this opportunity to represent, through one of its graduates, the excellence and creativity of Italian fashion on an international stage, and warmly thanks Clara Tosi Pamphili for her involvement.
