Our third year of the Undergraduate Course in Fashion Management students received a new and exciting project brief by the ETRO team including Director of Operations, Christian Cagnola, Retail Training Manager, Giorgio Inno, HR Manager, Federica Iadevaia and HR Specialist, Maria Assunta Muto.

Founded in 1968 by Gimmo Etro, Etro has become a household name in the fashion industry thanks to it’s exceptional quality products and refined prints, putting them at the forefront of Made in Italy fashion and culture. Despite ETRO’s widespread success, the brand has remained a family-run business, which is a testament to their commitment to preserve its heritage and values.

Industry Brief

ETRO welcomed us within the walls of their showroom giving the possibility for our students to see from up-close the craftsmanship of the brand. The team then challenged them to create new business opportunities and marketing tools by identifying and consolidate brand values through marketing and communication actions that appeal to younger generations.

After analyzing the Etro brand and the characteristics of generations Y and Z our students will have to define a marketing strategy between the brand and these generations.
